F.Nicolich
An eclectic guitarist, Nicolich has been part of Pozzy Records since the very beginning. He and Pozzy first met in middle school, and in 1979, Nicolich sold Pozzy his very first guitar—a 1970s Eko Barracuda, which Pozzy still treasures today. A true blues lover, Nicolich draws inspiration from legends like Eric Clapton, Stevie Ray Vaughan, and B.B. King. Over the years, he has made sure that blues always had a place in their bands’ repertoire, even teaching Pozzy to fall in love with the genre.
His musical journey includes stints with Travel in 1988, Forest Hills in 1991, and the formation of the P.N. Band in the late ’90s, always alongside Pozzy. The two reunited in the 2000s, releasing albums like The Returner (2007) and Serendipity (2011).
In 2014, the P.N. Band welcomed a young bassist, M. Ferri, and a keyboardist from Milan, bringing fresh energy to the group. In 2015, they released Keep on Trying, a tribute to Travel (song was written in 1989), and in 2018, Nicolich and Pozzy reformed Forest Hills, which had disbanded in 2019. Most recently, Nicolich contributed his guitar skills to Pozzy’s 2025 Rebel album on the track Best Friends.
From selling that first guitar in middle school to recording their latest tracks, Nicolich’s story is one of friendship, passion, and the enduring power of the blues.
